New album, “Taylor Scott Band – Live at the Belly Up” Released Sept 18, 2020.
Denver based, Taylor Scott, from the band that carries his name, the Taylor Scott Band, has become
known for transcending musical genres by impeccably embracing a raft of them.
Grown out of Americana Music, Taylor Scott Band delivers a live show that
adds groove driven Funk, Soul, Blues and Rock & Roll to the pot.
This is never more apparent than on their new live album, “Live at the Belly Up”, released Sept 18,
2020. A follow up to last years studio recording, “All We Have”, produced by Steve Berlin
(Los Lobos). This collection of original songs showcases Taylor Scott’s prodigious talents as a singer,
songwriter and electrifying guitarist, as well as the band’s power, range and versatility. Embraced by
Americana and AAA Radio, singles include “Curiosity”, “Salted Watermelon” and “Hair of Indigo”.
Onstage, the road-tested Taylor Scott simply kills it night after night. Good luck trying to sit down or stay
still when he’s on stage. In addition to touring and recording with his own band, Scott has recorded and
toured the US, Canada and Europe with Blues legend Otis Taylor, including playing alongside the likes
of Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule) on Otis Taylor’s critically acclaimed release, "Hey Joe
Opus: Red Meat.” He has also sat in as a guest guitarist with Los Lobos on many occasions, and toured
supporting bands like Los Lobos, Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Buddy Guy and many more.

run of shows with Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore that would become the most inspiring and joyous
trip of the summer. Night one placed us in San Diego at the legendary Belly Up with a packed house
