Welcome to the Inaugural Desert Smash Celebrity Pickleball Challenge, presented by Smirnoff Smash!  We have partnered with some of the best in the sport, The Kitchen and the Miami Pickleball Club, programming a fun afternoon of one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. In the tradition of Desert Smash, we will bring together Hollywood and Pro Pickleball and all for charity, as this year’s event will benefit Charlize Theron’s eponymous foundation, the Charlize Theron African Outreach Project.
 
Come join us for an afternoon of fun on our custom pickleball court presented by our partners at Smirnoff Smash! You’ll see our celebrity talent battle it out as well as some of the best in pro pickleball ! Your ticket includes admission as well as product samplings, giveaways, and knowing that you’re supporting a great cause!
 

For our inaugural event, presented by founding and presenting partner Smirnoff Smash, Desert Smash has partnered with some of the best in the sport, THE KITCHEN, and the MIAMI PICKLEBALL CLUB, who will be programming a fun afternoon of one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.The afternoon event, which will be held in the adobe style courtyard area called “La Casa” within the spectacular La Quinta Resort & Club, will run from 3-5pm with gates opening to ticket holders at 2pm.

Pickleball Pros and celebrities already confirmed to participate in the debut event include; Colton Underwood (TV personality), David Dobrik (internet personality), Wes Burrows (professional pickleball player and coach), Sam Querrey (professional pickleball player and former tennis legend), JJ Wolf (professional tennis player), Roscoe Bellamy (professional pickleball player) with more to be announced soon.

Imporant Parking Info:

Please note that parking at Desert Smash will be strictly enforced. On-site parking at La Quinta Resort is reserved for hotel guests only. You will not be admitted into property unless you have a La Quinta Resort Parking Pass.

Parking for Desert Smash ticket holders, Volunteers, and sponsors will be FREE at the La Quinta City lot (78200 Avenida La Fonda, La Quinta, Ca 92253). A free shuttle service will transport all guests to the main entrance of Desert Smash within the La Quinta Resort from this lot. A map is also shown below for your reference.

Ride share programs are also encouraged.
