BrownChicken BrownCow String Band is a national touring band who’s roots originate in the Appalachian Mountains of southern West Virginia. The band features four multi-instrumental musicians that have spent over a decade traveling, writing and performing together. During that time they have created a rare and deep bond that can be observed in their music. While making their music they listen and react to subtle nuances in each other’s playing, this invokes spontaneous ripples of creativity and makes their sound unique and distinguishable from performance to performance.

BrownChicken BrownCow StringBand performs original music and the occasional classic of one of their influences. Theirs songs and melodies are influenced by the band members and their varied musical background including Bluegrass, Gypsy, Folk, Old-Time, Celtic and even Classical. One of the strengths of this band is the devotion and level of support they receive from each other to grow, reach for new sounds, and approach music as a lifestyle.
