  Ryan Hiraoka, a Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning songwriter, music producer, and recording artist from Honokaʻa on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, has released over 100 songs streamed millions of times worldwide. Known for his "honest songwriter with a positive island vibe" style, his music reflects his Hawaiian roots and personal experiences. Through his label, Rubbah Slippah Productions LLC, Ryan has been releasing original island music since 2005. He began his music journey as a bass player for the renowned Honokaʻa jazz band, eventually forming the successful local blues band Strange Groove and reggae band Kane O Kaleo. A graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa with a BA in Music, Ryan has managed to stay independent, retaining full ownership of his music, which has been featured in international TV ads and shows. With his new RSP Studio, he's poised to become one of Hawaiʻi’s most influential music makers.
