Welcome to Cart Classics where we get super chefy with nostalgic dishes and beloved grocery store brands.
Instacart and Chain have partnered with Chef Frankie Gaw -- known for his *Turning American Classics Asian* series -- to create 5 recipes rooted in his own grocery store nostalgia. These recipes all launched on the Instacart platform, and to celebrate the launch, we're throwing this dinner party. And you're invited!
The Menu
Snack Aisle Tacos: A Hmong American Collision of Traditions. Siete tortilla chips, pork laab, fish sauce vinaigrette, shallots and fresh herbs.
Pantry Pull Ramen: Maruchan ramen noodles coated with a bright peanut vinaigrette, topped with egg strips, cucumber and scallion
Grab & Go Guava Chicken & Waffles: Crispy fried chicken bites and Belgian Boys waffles, tossed in a sweet-and-savory guava barbecue glaze.
Market Mac 'n Cheese: Macaroni with a Tabasco kick. Topped with soy-maple bacon and carmelized onion jam, cheddar cheese and chili pepper panko crisp.
Out of the Box Birthday Cake: Toasted sesame cake with strawberry buttercream, strawberry lychee jam, and assorted fresh fruit.
Plus cocktails created to celebrate the collaboration.
The Experience
This is an immersive, seated dinner in the grocery aisle.
Each seating lasts approximately 1 hour.
Please arrive promptly at your designated arrival time.
Chef Frankie will be excited to welcome you to this dinner and share some of the inspiration behind the dishes.
