About the Artist
Niko Moon’s music is deeply rooted in his small-town Georgia upbringing, blending the essence of country storytelling with the groove of hip-hop. Raised by a drummer father who loved classic cars and songwriters like John Prine, and a mother with a sweet singing voice, Moon grew up surrounded by melodies and meaningful lyrics. His debut album GOOD TIME reflects those influences, weaving banjo-forward country with the rhythmic swagger of Outkast and the heartfelt simplicity of Michael Franti and John Prine.
Growing up just outside Atlanta, Moon experienced a slower, more connected way of life—family meals, lending a hand to neighbors, and finding joy in the small things. Those memories inspire his music, which celebrates love, gratitude, and the beauty in everyday moments. Songs like the Platinum-certified “GOOD TIME” and his latest album COASTIN’ channel his mission to make people happy, offering a blend of rhythm, melody, and heartfelt lyrics designed to uplift and connect.
A self-described seeker of positivity, Moon credits his wife Anna, also a songwriter, with transforming his life and art. Their collaboration brought fresh energy to his music, infusing it with authenticity, joy, and a deep appreciation for life’s blessings.
