Corb Lund - Live in Concert
------
A rural Albertan hailing from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Corb Lund comes from a long lineage of ranchers and rodeo riders — and his music is as authentic as his roots.
An elusive and genre-defying artist, Lund seamlessly weaves between outlaw country, Western, and indie-folk with an honest curiosity and rowdy devotion to each. Built on a true DIY ethos, he launched his career recording in his basement, printing his own merch, booking his own tours, and handling management and promotion himself — doing whatever it took to get his music heard.
Before carving out his signature Western sound, Lund toured extensively with the indie-metal band The Smalls, later shifting his focus to Western songwriting and developing the unique, quirky style that has become his trademark.
Over the course of his career, Lund has earned multiple domestic and international award nominations and wins. In 2022, he took home his 14th Canadian Country Music Award and made his debut at the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
His 2024 album El Viejo continues to showcase his storytelling prowess, blending tradition with originality and reinforcing his place as one of the most distinctive voices in modern Western music.
