Of Good Nature (OGN) incites and unites listeners with a fusion-friendly approach to today’s music, uncovering a highly accessible sound that concentrates on lyrics, uplifting energy, and musicianship, packed into a potent blend of alternative, pop, rock, soul, and reggae. Ever evolving, they’re constantly searching for new ways to incorporate different genres and styles, creating extraordinary and exciting music that is unlike any other. In July 2021, Of Good Nature released the Covers EP, containing their versions of some of their favorite songs to cover, including “Valerie (ft. The Elovaters)” (original song by The Zutons and iconicized by Amy Winehouse), “Aeroplane” (Red Hot Chili Peppers), “Lovely Day” (Bill Withers), and the Bob Marley classic “Is This Love”. Early in 2020 OGN played Train’s Sail Across the Sun Cruise for the third time, as well as the One Love Cali Roots Festival. The band released their fourth studio album, Everything Turns Gold (recording with A-list producer Danny Kalb [Beck, Ben Harper] for a second time) in May 2020. That December the band was selected by Sierra Nevada for its 'Doing Big Things’, partnering with a local charity RoofAbove and raising donations to help the homeless community in their hometown of Charlotte, NC. In 2021, OGN has been back doing what they do best: on tour performing live music for audiences across the country. The band played the Dirty Heads Orlando Vacation Festival, has toured extensively with Badfish: Tribute to Sublime, a three-week fall tour supporting Passafire, fifteen shows on both coasts as direct support for Michael Franti and Spearhead, as well as Franti’s SoulShine at Sea Cruise in November, also with Allen Stone, Fitz and The Tantrums, Niko Moon, Hirie, and more. OGN’s members include Cameron Brown (guitar, vocals), Brandon Hucks (trombone), David Hamilton Jr. (drums), and Clifton Bundick (bass).
