Welcome to the San Diego Open!

The San Diego Open returns for its sixth year, continuing the tradition of bringing world-class professional tennis to the Barnes Tennis Center. For 2026, the event expands to include both a men’s ATP Challenger 100 and an ITF Women’s World Tour 100, showcasing top rising talent and established competitors on the path to higher rankings.

2026 Tournament Details:

Dates: January 26 – February 1, 2026
Location: Barnes Tennis Center, San Diego, CA
Format:

  • ATP Challenger 100 (Men’s) – 32-player singles draw, 16-team doubles draw

  • ITF Women’s World Tour 100 (Women’s) – 32-player singles draw, 16-team doubles draw

This combined men’s and women’s event reflects our mission at Youth Tennis San Diego to grow the game, create pathways for future champions, and bring high-caliber tennis to the vibrant San Diego community.

Join us for a week of exciting competition and a close-up tennis experience you won’t find anywhere else!

**Free entry for everyone Monday, January 26th! No ticket needed.

**Youth 17 & under receive FREE GA grounds access all week (Tuesday–Saturday outer-court days) with a ticketed adult. On Sunday, GA isn’t available due to no outer-court play. 

Clear Bag Policy
A strict clear bag policy will be enforced at the San Diego Open. Non-compliant bags will not be allowed inside the venue. All bags are subject to search. Small purses under 4.5" x 6.5" will be allowed.
