It's our favorite time of year again, when we celebrate local music with some healthy competition between Colorado's best bands at the BandWagon Battle of the Bands.

The series, which has been happening annually since 2011, hosts shows in Denver (2), Greeley, Fort Collins and Colorado Springs with preliminary rounds that see top bands in each city battle it out for entry to the finals. This year's prize includes a $5,000 check and a BandWagon Magazine cover story, which will be awarded at the Moxi Theater on January 23rd, 2027.

This is the last chance to make the finals. Denver's rounds happened first, at the Black Buzzard: Night one on Friday, November 6, night two on Friday, November 13. The Colorado Springs prelim took place at Lulu's Downtown on November 14, and Fort Collins at Sound Bar on November 21. Greeley closes out the prelims here at The Moxi Theater on December 4.

The performances are judged by about ten judges with strong ties to the Colorado music scene, plus a fan voting system. Submit your band to compete HERE. Apply to be a judge HERE. BandWagon Presents

BandWagon Presents is Colorado and Wyoming's independent concert promoter.
