COURTNEY LYNN & QUINN:

Courtney Lynn & Quinn are an Americana-folk duo comprised of married front women Courtney Lynn and Quinn Russell. Originally from Greenfield, Indiana, and Wilmington, North Carolina respectively, both now call Wilmington, NC. home. Upon moving to Charlotte, the artists were performing separately, each doing their own style of music -Courtney Lynn, the indie-folk songwriter, and Quinn, the more soulful, raspy complement. The two began performing more songwriter and open mic nights together. As time went on and they sang together more, they felt a powerful connection that their audiences were noticing as well and eventually began to associate them as one act. During this time, something else was happening. Their love for one another began blossoming. It was only natural that the two artists merge their talents taking the best of each of their unique sounds to create something very special. Courtney Lynn & Quinn formed their duo in 2018 and their debut EP, Remiss was released in 2020 followed by their last single, "Reminiscing" in 2021.

Courtney Lynn & Quinn take pride in their beautifully layered vocal harmonies and deeply personal songwriting. While they are deep lovers of many artists and genres, their most powerful inspiration has always been Brandi Carlile. Their music doesn't shy away from exploring the intense themes like coping with toxic relationships and embracing the ones you love. Their live shows are peppered with stories and endearing marital banter. Whether they are playing to 100 people or 10,000 people, they show up and give all of themselves to the audience.

Courtney Lynn & Quinn are grateful for their many accomplishments over the years including their interview with NPR’s Amplifier Podcast and being featured in many regional publications for their live performances and recorded music. They have performed on NBC’s Charlotte Today and were winners of the national Songwriter Universe contest for "Best Song of the Month" for their original music.
