Fifteen years after last sharing the stage, Lauren Engel and Ahna Tessler are back to resurrect the sketch comedy that brought them together, This Thursday! (that's the name of the show.)
During that time, they chased the Hollywood dream, they were on top of the world writing TV pilots and feature films for Miramax, NBC, MTV. Have you seen any of their projects? No? Well, that's because they wrote a bunch of pilots and movies that never got made. But they survived as comedy writers in one of the toughest businesses in the world.
Now they're coming back to what they love most - performing live!
Blending razor-sharp wit, dark humor, and twisted characters, their fast-paced sketches will leave you laughing your ass off and wanting more. From a psychotic mother who'll do anything to keep her child from leaving the nest to two robots just trying to survive in a world run by humans, no one will escape the twisted sense of humor of Ahna and Lauren.
They're older. They're wiser. They're still fearless and funny as hell!
