FINICK is the creative project of 17 y/o Minneapolis singer/songwriter Josie Hasnik. They produce soulful indie folk music with  some pop influences, featuring poetic lyrics that range from longing to hopeful, dark to dreamy. Along with their recent EP, Out  To Sea, she has recorded a full-length album called Where Could We Go? which was released in the fall of 2023. 
FINICK has performed at the 2023 and 2024 Winnipeg Folk Fests, and at metro area venues such as PILLLAR Forum, Radio K  Off The Record and Caydence Records. They are also the recipient of the 2024 Loring Award for Rising Star.

Latest Release: Selfish (October 4th, 2024), is the first single off of FINICK’s upcoming album, due out in the spring of 2025. The sound is energetic, angsty and more rockoriented than FINICK’s previous efforts, calling to mind the work of artists such  as Olivia Rodrigo and Letters To Cleo. Even so, it bears the trademark lyricism and creative storytelling spirit that has colored  all of her previous releases and endeared them to fans across the country.
