Buffalo Chamber Players presents The Ice Is Talking, a program deeply connected to the natural world and the forces that shape it.

The evening features works by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer John Luther Adams, Juno Award-winning composer Vivian Fung, celebrated Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir, and Bohemian Baroque composer Jan Dismas Zelenka.

Calling for blocks of ice used as percussion instruments and traditional instruments played in unconventional ways, the pieces on the program explore the delicate equilibrium of our ecosystem and the interconnectedness of all living things.
