The Aramco Korea Championship gets set to make a thrilling return to Seoul, bringing with it a revamped format, elevated prize fund, and a stacked field of the best golfers from the LET & LPGA Tours. Taking place at New Korea Country Club from 9-11 May 2025, don’t miss your chance to witness golf’s most innovative format.
Format
This year’s Aramco Korea Championship introduces a bold new format that raises the stakes for players and fans alike. The tournament now boasts a $2 million prize fund, double that of previous Aramco Team Series events, solidifying its position as a premier stop on the LET calendar. The individual competition will see the field vie for a $1.5 million purse whilst the 26 teams compete for their share of $500,000.
One of the biggest changes is the shift to an all-professional team format, increasing competitiveness and opportunities for professionals. Previously, an amateur played alongside three professionals in one team, but now, each four-player team will be composed exclusively of elite professionals.
- 26 team captains will be selected ahead of the event and will draft their squads during tournament week
- The two best score per hole will count toward each team's total
- The team champion will be crowned after two rounds, while the individual tournament winner will be decided after the third and final round
