The Format
26 teams of 4 will battle it out over two days at the Aramco Houston Championship. The professionals will play a two best scores on each hole format whilst also competing individually in a 54-hole strokeplay competition. Coming to a conclusion on the final day after the team event is finalised and the field cut to 60 and ties, the individual competition offers a huge $1.5m as well as points for the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit and the Rolex World Rankings.
Our 2024 Champions
In Tampa last year, Pauline Roussin defended her US title won in West Palm Beach as her team of Celine Herbin, Meghan MacLaren, and amateur Lujain Khalil won in dramatic fashion.
On the individual side, Alexandra Försterling stole the show with a stunning performance to claim her third victory in less than a 12 month period on the LET.
Series Overview
A New Name.
A Bolder Future.
This is PIF Global Series.
So, what's new?
This year features five events, having already visited Riyadh, Seoul & London and Houston, and Shenzhen still to come - the events each have their own identity this year as below:
- PIF Saudi Ladies International
- Aramco Korea Championship
- PIF London Championship
- Aramco Houston Championship
- Aramco China Championship
The biggest changes from 2024 come in the format and prize fund. For the remaining events in 2025, 104 professionals will compete at each event in 26 teams of four. Removing championship-amateurs provides more opportunity for our professionals to showcase their talent on the global stage. The teams will continue to compete for their share of $500,000 over the first two days of the event, whilst the individual competition's stakes have been raised with an increase to $1.5m. Totalling $2m for each event, the PIF Global Series events will be the biggest prize purses on the LET outside of the Majors.
With the addition of the $5m PIF Saudi Ladies International, played in February at Riyadh Golf Club, we’re proud to be contributing a landmark $13m to this year’s Ladies European Tour.
