Scott Copeland’s Songwriter Workshop with special guest Mike McClure

Workshop will start at 4:00

The workshop will include a 90 minute to 2 hour lecture on lyric writing followed by a half-hour of interactive writing exercises as well as performances of original songs.   A 20 page songwriting booklet by Scott Copeland will be given to everyone attending that will theirs to keep.   

Mike McClure will play a 30 to 45 minute set of original material which include some insight as to how the songs were written.   Afterwards,  Mike will conduct a 30 minute Q & A where he will answer any questions from the audience about his songs, his method of writing, his influences, etc.

There will also be a drawing to win an opportunity to co-write a tune with both Mike and Scott.  There will also be other prizes given in the drawing as well such as t-shirts, books, CD’s, and autographed posters and photographs.  

All those attending are encouraged to bring their own pen, pencil, and paper for notes.

Musical instruments are not necessary.
