Serpentfoot is a psychedelic garage rock group based in Tacoma; The gritty heart of Washington. From the beginning the rowdy three piece has pumped out everything from jangly surf punk bops to soaring psychedelic compositions. No sound is sacred and no ears are safe. Sonically Serpentfoot bumps shoulders with acts like Osees, Slift, and King Gizzard while simultaneously stirring a dose of occult madness into the brew. The pure electricity and party atmosphere of the live experience is the real centerpiece.
Lead guitarist and vocalist Jordan Twiggs gives off an energetic aura of controlled chaos and tickles the ear with relatable, yet refreshingly creative guitar work and a wide range of unique vocal stylings. Bassist and songwriter Philip Shellabarger has an untameable live energy and a similarly unique playing style, merging surf and punk with fuzzed out stoner riffs. Ryan Schilawski smashes away at the drums like an unstoppable train engine. Constant and sustained energy with bursts of mind-bending complexity buries the group solidly into the shadowed realm of heaviness.
Diving headfirst into the psychedelic, garage rock frenzy, Screen Frogs delivers sonic pleasures from multiple genres, old and new. Formed by brothers Will and Mike Bacon in 2018 and later joined by Scott Minnich in 2019 and Preston Lewis in 2021, the group got their start in a garage north of Seattle, WA. Drawing inspiration from their favorite Kraut and Psych bands, Screen Frogs experiment with entrancing sounds that will infect the deepest parts of your brain and transport you to a realm of pure phonic mania.

Formed by lead vocalist/lead guitarist Sage Collette, Crooked Looks is a hard stoner-rock band that rides the wave of fierce, fuzzy sounds made popular by Queens of the Stone Age and fellow Pacific Northwest band Soundgarden. Light melodies and firm riffs paired with lyrics that emanate a youthful but ever-knowing and ever-partying spirit stream from this group’s musical subconscious, and in a short span of time Crooked Looks has proven themselves worthy of a spot on the charts. Collette delivers his hot riffs with intensity as his unique voice hypnotizes with stories of love’s possibilities in the quick and firey single “Change,” while proving he can carry the range as he slows it down for the smooth ringing tracks “Loose” and “In Another Light” off the band’s first album, “Ultrasonics” (2018). Bassist Griffin McElmurry, the slow and steady to Collette’s quick and heavy, provides a reliable but exciting bass-line which highlights the mischievous nature of single “Going Down,” then shakes it all up with a throbbing heartbeat in the new single, “Is This Living?” adding an element of clarity to the fast-paced tune. Looking to the future is a common theme in this band’s music, and the future will no doubt bring this band the success they’ve already planted the seeds for.
