About Lyons Lane

Introducing Lyons Lane, the electrifying music duo hailing from Detroit, Michigan, where the echoes of Motown meet the pulsating rhythms of rock 'n' roll. With unique 1950s influence, Lyons Lane is redefining the boundaries of midcentury and modern and creating their own brand of alternative music in the process.
Comprised of Mark Leo and Thomas "Tomcat" Thompson, Lyons Lane's journey began as teenagers when their shared love for rockabilly ignited the initial creative spark. Drawing inspiration from the timeless sounds of the 1950s and early 1960s infused with the infectious energy of alternative rock, Lyons Lane crafts a could-be pop sound that is both familiar and refreshingly innovative.
Although they’re sparking comparisons to Arctic Monkeys, The 1975 and The Fratellis, Lyons Lane brings a unique spin to rock ‘n’ roll sprinkling vintage style over modern sounds and sometimes ribald lyrics. With live performances that channel the legendary energy of James Brown and Jackie Wilson, coupled with the raw charisma of old Hollywood, Lyons Lane delivers an irresistible live experience that is uniquely their own.
Get ready to groove to the beat of Lyons Lane, with a sound that's as timeless as it is exhilarating. It's not just music; it's a movement that is finding rock ‘n’ roll a new place in the world of popular music by evolving it from where it originally started. This can quite possibly be a breath of fresh air for many people, and Lyons Lane is leading the charge.

About Mighty Joe Castro
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify
Based out of Philadelphia, PA, Mighty Joe Castro & The Gravamen have been described as sounding like Buddy Holly (if he'd had access to a stack of effects pedals and some Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds records). Influenced by 50’s Rock and Roll and infused with post modern Easter eggs cribbed from old episodes of MTV’s 120 Minutes, Mighty Joe Castro takes a modern, lyric driven approach to songwriting while The Gravamen layer on Jesus and Mary Chain-cover-Link Wray guitar atmosphere, booming doghouse bass and swinging beats. The quartet lurks at a crossroads where Sun Records and Creation Records meet.
Formed in 2018, the band quickly released their debut EP, Wake Up, You’re Rockin’! that same year, with their debut full length album, Come On Angels following in 2020. Known for their energetic live shows, the Gravamen have shared the stage with a diverse collection of groups including The Squirrel Nut Zippers, The Heavy Heavy, Wayne Hancock, and BIg Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys
Currently. the band has been back working with producer Brian McTear (Sharon Van Etten, Dr Dog, Dead Milkmen) at Miner St. Recordings on their new full length record, scheduled for release in spring 2025.
