Indie folk band Kindred Valley began when three friends with a passion for music met at Marshall University in 2020. Initially under the name Back Row Baptists, Blake Lacy, Noah Freeman, and Breb McCoy met in Huntington, West Virginia, and began writing and recording music together. The band released its first singles as a trio but found its footing in 2021 with two new members – husband and wife Rachael and Jadon Hayes. Following the unexpected success of their debut self-titled album, the band took to the road and began playing shows across the Eastern United States. It was during this time that Kindred Valley began to form an identity and sound unique to itself, one built on the ideas and shared experiences of each member. After releasing their EP “What Was Left” the group continued to hone their craft writing songs and playing shows as often as time allowed.

Watts McCormick is a Charlotte, NC based artist whose skilled songwriting and energetic live performances have earned him a growing audience across the Southeast. Influenced by artists such as The Fray, Keane, Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, and Augustana, his music draws inspiration from the hits of the early 2000's, blended with a modern pop/alternative rock sound.

Since pursuing music full time, Watts has performed hundreds of shows across the Southeast, both as a solo artist and with his touring band. His original music continues to gain momentum, with his most recent single, "Holding On", generating more than 45,000 streams in the just weeks after release Watts currently reaches more than 11k monthly Spotify listeners, while a viral performance of The Fray's How to Save a Life has amassed millions of views across social media.

As both an artist and collaborator, McCormick has written with acts including Congress the Band and Scott Levi Jones while continuing to expand his catalog of original music and grow his audience throughout the Southeast.
