About Don McAvoy & The Great Whatever
The original music of Don McAvoy & The Great Whatever (“DMCGW”) is a 30 plus year musical mystery tour filled with surprisingly relatable music with catchy hooks, lyrics and vocals and a whole lot of fun! DMCGW’s music is a genre-bending rollercoaster of upbeat and relatable original tunes (considered “Future Cover Music” by unknown and unnamed industry experts) where catchy riffs and vocal harmonies sonically collide with pop and rock energy, and where folky and country melodies intertwine with soaring power ballads with the occasional polka thrown in for good measure! They are like peanut butter and pickles served with a mug of beer – an unexpected, delicious, and slightly offbeat combination that somehow works! So, why "The Great Whatever" ? Because their original music is exactly that: a big, beautiful, messy, unpredictable ‘’Whatever’’ that grabs you by the collar and won't let go until you are singing their songs to yourself for weeks to come! …{our big hope…}
