About Big Boots
Big Boots delivers rootsy music, driven by high flying girl group vocals, a razor sharp twin guitar attack, and swinging backbeat. A group of Philadelphia music veterans who’ve seen it all and played with multiple national and regional blues, soul and rockabilly acts, Big Boots features heartfelt Americana from singer/songwriter Donna Jay, along with Dorothy Haug, Barb Lin and Mariah Springer in a soulful vocal blend, backed with six-string precision by guitar aces Bob Jay and Joe Gallo, and a driving groove from Mike Lampe on bass and Michael Bedrosian on drums. It’s all-reet and all roots — Big Boots!

About Loose & Alright
Loose and Alright was formed by guitarist Sam McIlvain. Started as a haven for talented musicians who crave the B3 heavy, funky/soul/jazz/blues fusion that was happening in and around the late 60s and early 70s (e.g. the Meters, Billy Cobham, the Headhunters, Daedato, Jimmy Smith, et al), the band expanded upon their instrumental origins when they added soul and funk singer Dan Rendine into the mix full time. They now cover the likes of Al Green, the Temptations, Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder, and Average White Band as well.
The core of the current lineup consists of Wally Smith, Daniel Bacon, Scott Davis, Lynn Riley, Rendine, and McIlvain. The band plays clubs, bars, and private parties. Fun, energetic, and professional to a T, they capture the feel and spirit of the music they so clearly love. “This band is really nothing more than an homage to all the greats who made these fantastic recordings back in the day.” stated McIlvain, “We’re just doing our part to pass it along, perhaps introduce it to a new crowd, and add our own twist to these soulful, funky tunes.”
