Avec le film Rêveries d’un routier solitaire, plongez dans un voyage immersif en dôme à travers les mots de Serge Bouchard. Anthropologue, écrivain et fin observateur du territoire et de ceux et celles qui le peuplent, il nous entraîne à bord de son mythique camion pour une traversée à la fois physique et intérieure.
Porté par des archives sonores des interventions de Serge Bouchard à la radio de Radio-Canada et par une mise en images spectaculaire à 360 degrés, le film juxtapose paysages grandioses et réflexions fécondes où pointent de chaleureux sourires.
Des routes peu fréquentées aux ciels infinis, Serge nous invite à poser un nouveau regard sur notre monde. Ode à la nature, hommage à la sagesse innue et déclaration d’amour à notre terre, ce film transforme l’écoute en véritable expérience.

*En écho à l’univers routier du film, la SAT propose également une halte gourmande éphémère inspirée des truck stops nord-américains. Du 21 au 25 avril, de 17 h à 22 h en face du dôme, le public pourra prolonger l’expérience avec un menu spécial imaginé pour l’occasion par la cheffe Catherine Lépine Lafrance. Un forfait souper-spectacle sera offert en complément des représentations lors de l’achat des billets.

An immersive film narrated by Serge Bouchard
Reveries of the Solitary Trucker invites you to embark on an immersive journey across the dome guided by the words of Serge Bouchard. An anthropologist, writer, and keen observer of the land and its inhabitants, Serge takes us aboard his legendary truck for a journey that blends both the physical and the introspective.
Featuring archival audio recordings from Serge Bouchard’s many appearances on Radio-Canada and accompanied by spectacular 360-degree visuals, the film juxtaposes sprawling landscapes with warm, insightful reflections.
From quiet roads to endless skies, Serge invites us to see the world in a new light. An ode to nature, a tribute to Innu wisdom, and a love letter to the land, the film transforms listening into a deeply human experience.
Get in. The road unfolds. The immersion begins.
*Echoing the film’s road-trip universe, the SAT will also present a temporary gourmet stop inspired by North American truck stops. From April 21 to 25, between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., in front of the dome, the public will be able to extend the experience with a special menu created for the occasion by chef Catherine Lépine Lafrance. A dinner-and-show package will be offered alongside the performances when purchasing tickets.
