Earlier this week, remix-pro Kygo, announced his latest US musical trek: the Endless Summer 2014 Tour. Spanning September into October, this tour will begin in Nashville and come to a close in Chicago as it makes its round all around the country in between.
It’s obvious that Kygo doesn’t want these precious summer months to end, and we completely agree. He’s also bringing Amtrac and Tropical House artist Thomas Jack along for the ride. Hold on to the summer with Kygo and friends as they make their way to your city with the ‘Endless Summer 2014 Tour’. Pre-sale tickets are now available, and general admission tickets go on sale Friday, August 1!
No Rest When It Comes To The Remix
This week, the Norwegian producer added another amazing remix to his growing stream which already includes Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire”, Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing”, Coldplay’s “Midnight”, Passenger’s “Let Her Go” and many, many more. “It’s almost the same process every time,” Kygo told Billboard in an April 2014 article. “I always play piano over the original track. I often stay sitting up all night, and I usually finish it before I go to bed. I get into a zone where I’m really in my own world when I make music,” he added.
This time The Weeknd has enlisted Kygo to take on his new single “Often,” and we cannot stop listening. “Stepping far outside the box of what you have grown to expect from Kygo, he offers a hip-hop, almost trap styled influence to this latest creation,” says thissongissick.com. You can stream the song via Soundcloud. Read more about this song and treat yourself to a free download of Kygo’s “Often” on thissongissick.com.
