Looks like the word has gotten out about the anniversary bash at Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Last year on Memorial Day Weekend they celebrated a grand opening that sent a shockwave across the Las Vegas strip. Despite only opening a year ago, this massive gem of a venue is already the most talked about place to see tremendous electronic dance music artists like Sultan, Ned Shepard, Ingrosso, Nicky Romero and Krewella.
For Memorial Day Weekend, a very special treat is in store for those in the know. For those who may be sadly unaware of what they might miss, here’s a quick breakdown of DJs at the hippest pool party in Nevada during the Memorial Day Weekend.
Memorial Day Weekend Events at Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino
FRIDAY May 23rd, 2014 from 11am to 6pm: GTA
Matt Toth and Julio Mejia hale from Miami with refreshingly explosive salsa rhythms and a hip-hop flare. They’ve toured festivals and rocked nightclubs across the country blending futuristic sounds with toe tappin’ classics. In fact, they are currently touring festivals like EDC – New York, Electric Forest and Lollapalooza. GTA is the reason your friends are leaving for Vegas on Thursday rather than Friday – this performance simply cannot be missed.
SATURDAY May 24th, 2014 from 11am to 6pm: Alesso
The Swedish legend, Alesso, keeps the pool party in full swing on Saturday. As a protégé of Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia, his smooth tempos and heart-pounding bass drops are reason enough to be at the Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Memorial Day Weekend. Like GTA, Alesso is touring festivals everywhere but it’s rare that we get the chance to see him in a venue with the intimacy, excitement or panache like Daylight Beach Club offers.
SUNDAY May 25th, 2014 from 11am to 6pm: Kendrick Lamar
MTV recognized Kendrick Lamar as the No. 1 “Hottest MC in the Game” in early 2013. If that’s not enough for you to see this industry shaking hip-hop artist from Compton, then perhaps you’ll want to pick up his Platinum Album “Good Kid, m.A.A.d city”. It’s highly recommended. Listen to just one song on it, any song, and you’ll quickly see why he took home seven Grammy Awards earlier this year, including Best New Artist, Album of the Year and Best Rap Song.
